How To Get Indexed By Major Search Engines: Google, MSN, Yahoo

Getting your blog indexed by major search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and MSN is quick and easy. Once your blog is listed in those search engines, other search engines will automatically pick up your blog too. Here are simple steps to get into the search engines within minutes. This will work with any platform you're using (Blogger, Wordpress, Movable Type, etc).

The most important search engine to get listed in is Google. Log into your Google account, if you don't have one yet, create one by going here https://www.google.com/accounts/Login. After you've created an account, click Add content next to Personalized Homepage. In the next click Add by URL next to the search box. Add your blog url or feed in the box and click ADD. You can add as many blogs as you like. This is one of the fastest ways to indexed by Google.

Visit http://www.yahoo.com and click My Yahoo! If you have already a yahoo account then login or Signup for new Yahoo Account. After logged into your account click Add Content, in the next page click Add RSS by URL and type your Feed URL and click ADD. Your blog should now be on My Yahoo! page, check the homepage and in the bottom you can your blog posts.
